DR FIONA MURRAY

Dr. Fiona Murray has more than 25 years' experience developing and delivering EU advocacy strategies for clients. She has worked for a wide range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies, SMEs, governments, global and national trade associations to NGOs and charities. Her sector experience is diverse, including legal, financial services, tax, pharmaceuticals, trade, mining, IT, education and development.

Fiona trained as a barrister in London and has a PhD in European Law from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. She is the author of two books and several articles on EU law and policy. She speaks English and French.

Darren Katz
A founding partner at Amplia Group, Darren has over 25 years of global public affairs and communications experience. During his career, Darren has represented over a dozen foreign governments, over 75 Fortune 500 corporations, and over 60 global NGOs.

Darren’s areas of expertise include public affairs, public relations, crisis communications, digital outreach and advocacy, advertising, campaigns and elections, and grassroots organizing. Darren has been recognized as a thought leader in the industry and has been honored by the Public Affairs Council, the Public Relations Society of America, PR Week, the American Advertising Foundation, and the Harvard Alumni Association.

Darren earned his AM summa cum laude in American History from Harvard University. He received his JD with High Honors from the Emory University School of Law. He earned his BA summa cum laude in International Relations from the Honors Program at the University of Florida.

KATHY KYLE BONOMINI

Kathy is a founding partner at Amplia Group. A branding, PR and marketing expert, Kathy has 20 years of international experience launching and leading innovative communications campaigns across multiple sectors. She has launched government agencies, brands, campaigns and VC-backed companies. A former comms director and press officer for both the public and private sectors, Kathy has led teams and programmes in industries that include: tech, health care, education, lifestyle, sustainability/EV, climate change, life sciences, transportation, fundraising, nonprofits, legal, the arts, and government.

Kathy’s areas of expertise includes: integrated branding; digital communications social media and channel strategy; corporate, internal and external communications; marketing; graphic design; web design and development; and public relations.

Kathy attended San Diego State University where she graduated magna cum laude (hons) with Masters and Bachelors degrees in Applied Social Research Methods. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, multiple honour societies and was named the Dean Margery Warmer Outstanding Graduating Senior. Kathy has lived on four continents, in five countries and speaks three languages. She is a former Rotarian and parent governor at a local school and Fundraising Director.

Kathy provides pro bono advisory services for small, women-owned businesses and a mental health charity.

TOM CARTER
Tom Carter has over 25 years of experience advocating his clients’ products and positions in the legislative, regulatory, policy, media, and market contexts.

He is an expert in the fields of global climate change, sustainability, air quality, clean energy technology, environmental justice, and other environment and energy issues.

After earning a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina, Tom served as executive director and senior vice president in several trade associations, and directed international, federal, and state government affairs for sustainable companies.

He spent most of his career in Washington, DC and is now based in Europe.
